World Animal Day	Every year on the 4th of October, it is the World Animal day. Organisations all around the world organise events to educate people, to raise awareness about the animals in shelters, animals in the wild etc. Some organisations have an open day where people can attend and adopt animals in shelters, others will have a day of neutering animals. Animals can talk 2 me believes passionately in education in animal welfare, for pets and wild creatures alike.

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home	Battersea home dog. The shelter has loads of dogs and cats waiting for new homes. The site provides basic training in behaviour from the comfort of your own sofa!
The Blue Cross	Again, another organisation helping our pets. The Blue Cross has taken a lead in animal care for over a hundred years. Celia Hammond Trust	The rescue is helping cats to find new homes, and has also a program of neutering and spaying. My two cats were rescued by the Hastings’ branch and I highly recommend the centre. The rescue has a no kill policy which will appeal to all cat lovers.

Galapagos Conservation Trust	The Galapagos Conservation Trust (GCT) is a UK registered charity set up to raise funds for, and awareness of, the conservation needs of the Galapagos Islands. They are trying to save sharks from extinction and stop the barbarism involved in their cruel killing as their fins are in demand for soup!

Secret World Wildlife Rescue	They specialise in the rescue, rehabilitation and eventual release of orphaned and injured wild creatures. It is run entirely on donations and runs the only 24 hours wildlife rescue service in the South West of England.
